If only we could all have the guidance and wisdom of a beautiful fairy godmother, someone to tell us which roads to take, what choices to make, to help with our appearance when we are having a bad hair day or alas to tell us which one is the REAL prince charming and not just a frog in prince's clothing.
I am in no way, shape or form a fairy godmother, but i would like to offer guidance and possibly be the next best thing. If life is a highway maybe I can be your G.P.S. so to speak. That is what i hope to accomplish through this blog. I hope to help others with all the thoughts swimming around in my head, also it will help to get these thoughts out of my head. If anyone can be helped by the knowledge i have acquired, through the pain i have endured that would make it worth it. I hope i can help others, I have been told it is my destiny by many. At the very least you should be able to get a good laugh at times. Maybe even getting tips that you can take with you even if you do not need advice from an unknown stranger.
Be happy my child and love with all your heart....

How To Heal a Broken Heart.....
Everyone will at some point and time have to suffer through a broken heart. ( Though I do not wish it on anyone ever it is pretty much destined, right?) I myself have been dealing with a broken heart for the last three years ( long time right, there are lots of unanswered questions and no closure causing for it to be taking a long, long time.)
Now come in close my child while i tell you the secret to healing your broken heart......
This is the ONLY way to heal a broken heart....ready for it ........TIME.....
Yep unfortunately that is the only true way to heal a broken heart....Time, well the secrets out now....
Be ye not discouraged my child Being there before and being there now there is however lots of ways to alleviate the pain in the mean time. I have considered extreme measures because the pain can become overwhelming at times. I have hoped for person specific amnesia, among some other similarly crazy ideas. I do not recommend them.
So what can you do while you wait for time to heal your broken heart (slowly)....
1. Keep your mind busy as busy as possible
I am taking my time and learning a new language. I am also working on bettering myself, trying to lose weight, get healthy, and be happy with me. ( how can i expect anyone else to like me if i don't like me? I want to be the person i want to be and i am using this extra time to get closer to me....so to speak.)
2. I took everything that reminded me of him and put it into a box. I did not want to lose those memories completely but i couldn't have them lying around as a constant reminder ( my mind/heart was doing that enough as it was) After everything is together tape it up and put it somewhere where you won't be tempted to open it and remember. Opening and reopening the wound is not good for the healing process and will just prolong the healing. You wouldn't take your stitches off before it was time to see what happens, would you?
3. Occasionally the pain will back up on you and overwhelm your senses. It's time to cry again. However this time while listening to empowering music about how this is making you stronger, how your a fighter, or how it may hurt but you know its what is best.
4. Anything that makes you happy and feel good. ( unless that includes contacting the missing party, remember our stitches...)
Above all else know that time truly is the only thing to heal a broken heart. Though it may not look that way now YOU are strong and will get through this. Though it sounds cliche' it is true that EVERYTHING happens for a reason and in hindsight years from now you will look back and be thankful for your unanswered prayers.
